The Under 11 team is for players who, from 1st September, will be in Year
6 at school.

Managers Pre-season Report.
Hello All.
This year sees the biggest change for the players, coaches and supporters with the move to playing full 11 a-side.
The boys are ready and really looking forward to playing “proper” football. The squad has stayed together and the majority has been playing together for some 5 years.
We are extremely fortunate to have 4 qualified coaches looking after the lads this season – well done to Mark, Gary, Dave and Neal. The boys will truly benefit from the huge effort you put into structuring the training sessions.
There are 27 players registered for the coming campaign and we will be taking 16 to each match. Obviously this means there will be a rotation system in operation. We do hope however to offer some small sided games for those not playing on some Sundays if the demand is there.
Training and matches will take place at Mannings Field – it will be nice to actually play games in the village.
As ever we ask that supporters give good positive support during matches. Playing in Division 2 will prove to be a huge challenge – the standard will be very high. Also goalkeepers will be tested, playing in full size goals! There could be some high scoring encounters!

Lastly, good luck to Kayleigh who has joined Penn & Tylers Girls Team – we all wish you the very best – we will also miss the brownies!!
