Welcome to the New Season !

A warm welcome to all the players and parents to another season for Downley Dynamos JFC.  We had a wonderful season last year which culminated in an extremely successful Presentation Day in mid-June.  If your child played last year but you were unable to make it to the Presentation Day, then see your coach to get your commemorative medal.

Once again we will be selling drinks and bacon butties in the now completely refurbished Pavilion on Saturday mornings between 9.15am and 11am……look out for the noticeboard outside the Pavilion.  We still have the club shop where we will be selling Downley Dynamos JFC merchandise (caps, shorts, socks, fleeces, sweatshirts, polo shirts etc.).  These are great quality items at very good prices.  The items we are stocking will be available to see on the website (www.downleydynamos.co.uk) but also we will have them for sale in the Pavilion on a Saturday morning.  This year we will be looking to add some new items to the range so look out for details.

We have invested in a lot of new training equipment over the summer which will hopefully add to the fun for the children and coaches.  In addition we have over the last year got more of our coaches formally FA qualified, and we even have a newly qualified Level 2 coach (Fabrice Meziani) with the U10s.  Thanks to all the coaches who have given up their own time to attain these qualifications.

Look out for details of our events during the season including the Christmas Kids Bowling trip, the much acclaimed Quiz Night and of course Presentation Day next June.  Anyone able to volunteer to help with such events are always welcome so please see your coach or a member of the committee if you can help.

Lastly it is always appropriate to mention at this stage of the season the code of conduct for both players and parents.  I am pleased to say that Downley Dynamos JFC has a good reputation in the area and we definitely want to keep it this way.  Therefore please refer to the codes of conduct in your Welcome Pack  to read the expectations we have.  Enjoy the season.
